KIRIROM CAMBODIA ALL MOUNTAIN AND ENDURO ADVENTURE RIDING
Kirirom forest offers endless trails perfect for all-mountain or Enduro riding. With a variety of terrain to explore, you can enjoy everything from shuttles to longer rides, all on natural trails.
It’s ideal for holiday riders looking to try out different trails in a beautiful national park. Most trails are fast and flowy, rewarding riders who maintain their speed. But the Enduro tracks also have some steeper sections with rock gardens and slippery shoots. The great thing is you can do Enduro one day and then enjoy a longer ride the next.
Why so Unknown?
Until recently, Kirirom was pretty remote. But with the new Expressway, it’s now just about an 80-minute drive from Phnom Penh Airport. Cambodia might not be famous for tourism yet, but the mountain area has developed a lot with a new hotel and cafes, making Kirirom a solid MTB destination. Plus, the Khmer people are known for being some of the friendliest and most welcoming folks in SE Asia.
The all-mountain rides range from 20-50km over rolling hills with gentle climbs that are easy on your legs. The Enduro trails are shorter, between 5-13km, dropping at least 600m from the hilltop. All rides take place on forest trails and there is over 150km of trails to explore.
Kirirom Hill top is 900m high and is part of a wider National Park area. It is a favorite getaway spot for locals, offering a quiet, laid-back vibe. There are four hotels with great restaurants and cool cafes. If you want a break from biking, you can rent mopeds or quad bikes. There’s also a remote eco-reserve where you can stay overnight and really soak in nature.
